What this website receives, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Effective date: 9 September 2026
Overview
This policy explains how Ascend Consulting Partners, LLC handles information received through this website. Discretion is part of what we do for clients, and the same instinct applies here: we ask for as little as possible, and we do not sell, rent or trade what you send.
Information you choose to share
If you submit an inquiry or a questionnaire through this website, the form may ask for:
- your name and role;
- your company, website and business address;
- your email address and phone number;
- your industry, years in business, team size and capacity;
- a description of your business, your goals and the opportunity you are seeking;
- business figures you choose to share, such as marketing spend or growth targets;
- your confirmation that we may reply.
You may also share information by email, phone, or in conversation. Please do not include confidential or sensitive information you are not comfortable sending through a website form — a web form is not a secure channel. Any figure on the questionnaire may be left blank and discussed in person instead.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one runs on a web server that keeps standard technical logs. Those logs can include your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the pages requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request. Hosting logs are used to keep the site running securely and are held by our hosting provider under its own retention schedule.
How information is used
Information received through this site is used to:
- read and respond to your inquiry;
- arrange and prepare for a consultation;
- assess whether an engagement would be a genuine fit;
- keep records of business correspondence;
- operate, secure and improve the website;
- meet legal, tax or regulatory obligations.
We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an inquiry, and we do not run automated outreach sequences from this website.
Who we share information with
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. It may be shared in a small number of ordinary situations:
- with service providers who help operate the business — website hosting, email delivery, calendar scheduling — and only to the extent needed to do that work;
- with professional advisers such as an accountant or attorney, where required;
- where the law requires it, or to protect legal rights and safety;
- with your permission, in the course of making an introduction on your behalf.
Introductions are never made from information you send here without your agreement. No client, room or conversation is named without permission.
Reviews you publish
If you leave a review on this site, the name, company and words you submit are published on the reviews section for anyone visiting the site to read. Please only include what you are happy to have public. Ask us at any time and we will remove your review.
How long information is kept
Inquiries and questionnaires submitted through the website are kept for as long as the conversation is live, and afterwards for as long as is reasonable for business records — then deleted. If you would like yours removed sooner, ask and we will remove it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, form submissions are validated and checked for automated abuse, and administrative access is limited to people who need it. No website can promise perfect security, so please use judgment about what you send through a form.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority. We do not sell personal information as those laws define selling.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
This site may link to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them. Read the policy on any site you are sent to.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version is posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be described plainly rather than buried in a revision. This policy sits alongside our Terms of Use.
